Today's Blog will be in honor of a very special person in my life. A man who impacted and changed many peoples lives forever.

In Honor of Tony Ayala Sr.

On April 10th 2014 San Antonio lost a boxing legend.I don't think that people realized that when Tony Ayala Sr. died so did a part of San Antonio boxing. For over four decades he was the face of boxing in this city and throughout the whole world. If anyone was going to get you any where in boxing it was with this man. If tony said you could fight then you could fight. If you were willing to do it his way then you were on your way to being the next world champion.

He loved the sport of boxing but most of all he loved His family! His fighters! Tony always put them before himself. Always making sure they had equipment, towels, uniforms, headgear, and last but not least jungle juice. He sacrificed and gave all for the kids. No kid sent a way ever, No kids who walked in off the streets turned away because of lack of money.

Tony was as funny as all the Latin kings of comedy put together. I will never forget his jokes or that voice for as long as I live. These last few years have been some of the best years but sadly we didn't get to finish what we started and I'm in tears that he had to leave so soon. I'm going to do whatever it takes to finish our project, the one thing that would put a smile on his face while he fought his hardest to stay healthy as long as he could.

I just ask for your help and guidance from up there. That we are able to help make you the best 501c3 for the people who you loved, lived, and died for. The Lord knows our needs and our hearts. Please help us to help the children of westside and all over the city have a place to come learn discipline and find confidence. It's what was given to us now we want to make sure that everyone is able to experience what we were honored and blessed to be a part of.

Welcome to my blog My name is Annette Sepulveda-Clarke and I’m from San Antonio, TX. This blog about Patty’s Taco House located on 2422 S.Hackberry it has been open since 1985. It is a family owned and operated Mexican Restaurant. My grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Juan A. Sepulveda opened the doors to Patty’s Taco House on September 16, 1985. When we first open we had only 5 tables and 3 employees. We later grew larger in the early 90s and now we have over 40 tables and 30 employees.
My grandparents are the ones that started it all, very simple and old fashion they have a strong belief that the customer comes first and is always right. Our customers mean the world to us. Patty’s is the neighborhood hang out. For years we have had our customers who we call “Our Regulars” who come in everyday of the week with their families. It’s a meeting place for many. We enjoy watching the children grow from babies to teenagers to having children of there’s. We love and appreciate ever one very much.

We offer catering and do privates dinners on weekends for special occasions if you need any more information please contact me at pattystacohouse1@gmail.com or (210) 487-8899 thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

Today at Patty’s Taco House we would like to honor one of our very own Shaunessi Briane Battles. She has been a customer of Patty’s since birth. We have watched her grow from a baby to a beautiful talented young athlete.

Shaunessi is a Junior at St. Anthony’s Catholic High School and was recently invited to participate in the USA Junior Nationals volleyball showcase in Columbus, Ohio in July.

It is a honor to receive such a invitation. Shaunessi started developing a passion for Volleyball at a very young age and this season was named TAPPS All-District and All-State. There is no better way to show all her hard work and skill than to participate in the USA Junior Nationals showcase.

We would like to help make here dream come true so we are asking for any one who is willing to help to please go and click on this link http://www.gofundme.com/6j3wsg any monetary contribution that you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all who took the time to read this and thank you even more to all of the generous kind hearted people who are able to donate and help this young woman’s dreams come true.

Best of Luck to you Shaunie!! From everyone here at Patty’s Taco House!!
